The Empowering Kids project hope that all children and young people in Ireland who experience domestic violence and abuse:
- are acknowledged and seen.
- are listened to and have their voices and opinions taken seriously.
- get the help and support they need and can talk about it without feeling embarrassed.
- are asked their opinion on decisions that impact them.
They have created the Kids Coercive Control Web to help you understand what children living with domestic abuse are going through.
“We want to be heard instead of hidden, informed instead of isolated and consulted instead of quietened – the time for change is now”
